I like to remember things my own way.
Not necessarily the way they happened.

Chiaroscuro is derived from the Italian term for the contrast of light and dark in paintings.

Most of my works do not reveal their full meaning. The darkness (scuro) hides behind the light (chiaro), inviting the viewer to discover it, by contemplating these areas or using the imagination.

Maybe the most important fragment just slipped into the dark? Maybe what was visible a moment ago is now obscured by a light? Or has it leaked through the time gap and only exists in the past? Maybe it's already lost forever, and the only thing that can be seen is a visual aftertaste captured in the photo? Like a frozen photon of a bygone moment...

So I invite you, dear visitor, to browse through this gallery. Maybe you will discover what is hidden in the darkness, or maybe you will find that there is nothing there and all this is just phantasmagoria?
